Ryan Powell is a self-taught Freelance Director, Cinematographer, Photographer, and Editor based out of St. Louis, MO. Ryan’s roots date back to his early days of rollerblading, filming online edits for STLRolling. As Ryan’s filming capabilities progressed, he met the likes of Brandon Negrete and Adam Johnson, two world reknowned directors in the Rollerblading Industry. After contributing footage to various videos produced by those two, as well as many others, Ryan started gaining recognition and has filmed for companies such as Razors, Valo, 4X4, Vicious Bearings, Vibralux, Franco Shade, Greedy Genius, Red Bull, and also Ch’rewd Promotions, filming live performances and interviews for 247HH and Def Jam. Ryan has worked on music video sets with directors GL-Joe and Parris. While working with 247HH, Ryan has filmed the likes of Young Jeezy, MIMS, Common, The Cool Kids, and Unlady Like. His work has been blogged about all around the world, from Canada to Russia, and all in between. Some highly regarded press appearances include Be-Mag, One Magazine, Highsnobiety Blog, and Ferrari Murakami Blog.
